wargame is not AoA. wargame is better. i've played AoA a bit, and all i get out of it is this world of goo feel were i just build units to A-move, yeah sure you sim city to death as well. but its just not interesting one bit.

I find it lacks the depth of a good strategy game. all your units are mostly passive and that generates a lot of free time. which makes the game uninteresting. Unlike for example starcraft you have all these really awesome caster abilities where half the units can do pretty things.

In all i'd rather play stronghold crusader 2 over this game so far, and that game isn't close to as good as it's counterparts. but still i find it more fun and it stretches in how challenging it can be.

Honestly if you want to go for a game that is closer to AoA or world of goo but far better in all aspects play supreme commander forged alliance. It's more gratifying to win in a game. there is even a scene for such a game if you really want to go and join that community.

It's smaller but I can just say that it would hold anyone a lot better then AoA for those who feel bored of CoH2

The prize pool is actually only half of the donations, the whole donation pool itself is $10,000 so far.

In terms of prizes however, it works out differently. On the stretch goals section you see the sum divided into amounts based on bracket position: http://www.coh2.org/crowdfunding/Progress

Half of the prize pool, goes to first place, just to clarify this, as the prize pool is still only half. So the winner gets a quarter of all donations.

The other half of the donations go the site and it's staff, with 50% of these (so a quarter of all donations) going to a certain which is not unfair considering the work he's put in. Then the remaining half of the non prize pool donations are split further amongst other admins for their contributions.

BARs help. as well as the m1919s if you choose a doctorine for that. if its a map that has a lot of buildings flamethrowers.

Problems with people who blob is that it's annoying to fight them, mostly because you need to do a lot of preparing to nail them hard to retreat. People who also blob will retreat full squads easy if they are slightly losing an engagement so its easy to recap.

You want him to force an engagement on you lead him into narrow corridors for easy supression bait him into demos or mines.
