COH2 is a bit different from COH1 when it comes to xp gain. Laying mines for example, does not give xp.
So what is the full list of actions that gives you xp?
This is what I can think of right now:
- Killing and damaging units
- Constructing base buildings (do bunkers and trenches give xp?)
- Crushing camp fires (why, exactly???)
- ...

You are talking about XP towards commandpoints right? Because I am under the impression that the only xp for units towards veterancy are dmg applied/recieved. If not feel you can correct me on this one.

I can confirm that crushing campfires do give XP towards the vehicle which do so.
