Nothing’s wrong with USF, you’re just not good at it.

Buffed riflemen tear down Assgrens with ease. Assgrens are not viable vs usf. You’re just facing better players.

That seems rather simplistic as my win rate with Ostheer using Assailt Grens is much higher and I play them only rarely.

You’re rank 1700+ with usf and 2300+ with Ostheer. All your issues are l2p ones, not balance.

Just go to assault enges or mechanized company with mg-jeep and cavalry. Also, if you not in cover and want to fight in open place 1 squad vs 1 assgren with sprint...better forget about it. Retreat or kite or hide in building (if you have somewhere near another squad to help), reorganize troops.

15 minute is very close to gold standart of arriving for 1-st p4. If he want to rush to T3 without T1 and T2, you could see p4 on 11-12 minute. Ostwind could be 1 minute sooner.
In that case, go to captain, build ATG. If you have doctrine with LMG upgrade for rifles, it help you a lot in fight against assgrens and pgrens, while ATG can keep at bay any medium armor.

Build 2-nd ATG. Build pak-howi to bleed mgs.

Thanks for your thoughtful reply (vs the elitist response in this thread of “you’re not good enough”) I’m trying some of the variations as it seems ass Gren or mg spam are my greatest threats as USF lately. It would be nice to pump out four rifles to rush a Wehrmacht base though...

Well, I read this thread numerous times and applied as much as I knew in this game USF Heavy Cav vs Ostheer saved in the replay section:

He spammed 12 Ass Grens and TWO Tiger Aces but I couldn't close it out. I fought with my back to the wall with 8 points on the ticker for the longest time. I made a few mistakes but think it is about as good a game as I can play at this point. I am still learning though. This guy was tough as nails....I stand by what I said earlier that Ost is OP as f*ck

Tell me a USF player can lose two Pershings, get base raped twice, and have a low/kd and still WIN? Ostheer is OP as f*ck and stormjager can argue all he wants about skill level but my opponent was equal or lower skill. Just spam 12 ass grens and two tiger aces for the win.
