Something simple and hopefully easy, that could maybe sneak into the upcoming commanders patch?
Add a Scuttle option to the glider HQ
This is much more relevent in team games. But there will be instances where:
1) You push your front line further forwards and want a reinforce point
2) Your glider is now in uncontrolled territorry, and not functional
3) You simply want to place it at another position
Sure, you can manually target them with AT weapons in some situations. But so long as there is a hard cap of 1 at a time, please let us stuttle the thing to move it around.
