I was just playing a match today where I successfully damaged and forced a OBW Panzer IV with Armoured Skirts to be abandoned next to my 17 Pounder Emplacement, a little bit behind it, at it's 5 o'clock side. That's when things start to go haywire. While I was fending off attacks towards the front, my 17 Pounder would keep turning away on it's own and frustrate me. I would order it to face the right direction and it would immediately start turning again.
After a minute or so of this, I realised that it kept trying to take aim at the abandoned Panzer IV behind it and never open fire on it. This finally stopped when I took control of the tank with some Royal Engineers.
Upon doing this, it wasn't a Royal Engineer that took control of the Pintle mounted MG42, but a German crewman. So I have to conclude that there's something wrong with the Panzer IV here.
