"Package" option under Build ?

I just noticed this option called "Package" under the Mod Builder's "Build" option. Has anyone used this yet able to tell me what it does exactly? I'm not sure if I want to be pressing a button that I'm unaware of the effects first..

Im also curious, it might be really boring and do what I think it does but it also might be completely destructive. Its a wild card that nobody has flipped yet. Maybe you could make a new dummy mod and see what it does after all these years?

It just creates a tar.gz or tar file with your mod in it. It is not destructive.

I wonder how many windows users actually know what a tar file, or a tarball is :D

Ah, I thought it just packaged all the mod files into an sga without building any newer files.
