Each commander have 5 abilities/call-ins, like a doctrine. If you could change commanders during a game it would be the same as changing doctrines in the VCoH.

Strange concept.

Wouldn't be more appropriate choosing a single commander, but DURING the match??

I think the best thing is to wait till our experts who played the multiplayer in London are able to tell us something more about how this whole system works.

what you guys all seem to miss is that steam preorder bonus includes "commander archetypes"... so we get to buy multiplayer enhancing items?! dindt they say there will be only skins an things to "customize your army's look"?
or did is just missed something?

I'd rather see one build your own doctrine on the fly like have a bunch of different abilities arranged in tiers. then just pick from based on what you need. kinda like aoe3 bonus for teching except coh style based on coh points. or another way to do it could be to build 3 different doctrines based on your preference, then pick from 1 of the 3 during battle. the idea of only being able to pick from one doctrine thats preset to your account, like in coh online was just absolutely silly and stupid.

either way be nice to build your own make the game a little less predictable than just 1 of 3 doctrines that follow the same strat every time. and allow for more strategy's a player can bring to the battle field.

Let us hope indeed. But let's take an optimistic view. Curious about the wire and mines related to it though. Wonder about distance from the trench

Indeed as long as it not a camp fest shooting at each other from trench's all game or cutting your opponent off for 10 mins super easy should be good.

Trench storming with some hand to hand combat would be good for clearing trench's, maybe that's why they got the mines and wire in there too
