COH on ultrawide?

Does anyone here use an ultrawide monitor for COH2? How do you like it compared to a normal widescreen? Does it give you any wider view or does it cut off part of the bottom and top?

I'm looking at this:

as far as I know, the wider your monitor, the more you see in this game.
personally I run a bit wider than 19:6, nothing blank.
your monitor should work perfectly, as long is does not take too long for your eyes from bottom left to the right top :-)

i have ultrawide. same size and resolution.

works perfectly you see more. didnt have to do anything special or if i did, it was real easy so i forgot.

Ultrawide works like a charm with coh2.

but: minimap and icons on the right side are reaaaaly far away from the center with those super wide screens.
I cannot say what the ideal screen is. It is probably an individual preference....

I'm with you but I play at 3440x1440 (ultrawide) and I feel claustrophobia if back to 16:9.

Imho, I think it depends on your play style, because I use a lot the tactical map with hotkeys, but not the minimap. The cons are what Gunther said, but I think that those are the only cons. On the other side you have a much wider field of view and your battle awareness will improve for sure. As I said, going back to 16:9 is a big step back now for me.

And remember you need a decent graphics card because otherwise that resolution will drop your FPS for sure.
