Random unit(s) from commander ability

Is it possible to create commander ability that would call in random squad/vehicle? Or something like Off-man Combat Group ability from vCoH?

Yeah it's very do-able, we have it for the Wikinger mod for various factions.
there's an action called "random actions" from there it can be used to create a number of actions and you weight them as a percentage. Each time it is activated it is a new dice roll, it doesn't get affected by what the previous use of it resulted in.

Even in live the have RNG Ostruppen call in with random LMG upgrade and recon support airborne with RNG random upgrade so why not ?

The reinforcement action has a random function built in. Add any possible squads you want it to spawn into the table, decrease the total points, and enable random.

I came back to it but still can't get it done, the ability "works" in game but no squad is called in. Can anyone show the screenshot of action_list category from ability with random squads that actually works?

It is not a big deal:
Star target action --> random action --> action 1: (reinforcement action 1)
--> action 2: (reinforcement action 2)
Use a targeted action ability and that is.
