A) Seems like it was a Bug from the WB or something. Should be fixed now.

B) Relic updated their patchnotes to:

2v2
• Pripyat Sector (community map)
• Schilberg Outskirts (now custom games only)

And very good news now:

So 7 maps are out. Means for 2vs2 only 13 maps left. In live version they are 20 :P

Also, I am a bit sad about Halbe.
But overall great work.


I relased an updated version a few months ago, but it seems I missed the deadline. Had a lot of stuff to do in real life back then. Halbe was not loved by everyone for obvious reasons and I expected that it might get removed one day.

I think overall, the reason these maps were "highly vetoed" is because they were just too small.

I don't have data on this, of course, but from my own personal experience, I enjoy a map like Minsk Pocket in 1vs1 waaaaay more than something claustrophobic like Bryansk Forest and Caen.

Maybe it isn't even about overall size but rather the shape of the map too. More elongated maps where opponents don't have such an easy time rushing points near your base just feel more fun, feel like they reward flanking more, and just feel more tactical and less like they require Starcraft-brand 9,000+ APM micro.

I did not kickt out minks. So its still in automatch even for 1vs1. But now has only 1 fix spawn :)
