Is there a way to see exactly how far RE's can fire a rifle nades from a Fighting Position? Is the range just the same as HMG's? I know a Fighting Position in theory is a good way to deny garrisons or such but I'm never sure where exactly I should be placing it for minimal risk.

I am interested in this too. I find the fighting pit, apart from the riflenades, to be quite useless lol.

The minimum range is 25, the max range is 40. For reference that's half the max range of the Ost/Sov Mortars.

Huh. I still wish there was some kind of UI indicator like that of snipers/flaktrack of the range. Sucks having to eyeball it although I guess you can just figure out in custom games where exactly a fighting pit will cover which garrisons and keep that in mind in actual games...
