Playing some random 2v2 recently, I wonder what commander and strategy you would recommend?

So far I tried Special Weapons and Vanguard, as the Crocodiles offer add. late game armor, but found it hard to not be overrun by massed medium armor on the way.

What has worked for you so far in the new patch?

I would pick two, depending on who your ally is playing.

If your ally is Soviet, then Special Weapons is where it's at, because you can drop vickers lmg and piats for his penals, effectively removing the one last weakness for the soviet infantry prowess.

For anyone else I would argue the tactical support, primarily because of its "kill, stun and maim everything in the area" Artillery Cover ability.

If your facing OKW, its hard to not take a strong off map bomb (Commando/Special Weapons), although you could make do with land mattresses.

Makes it hell of a lot easier when you can just click and delete trucks. With commando you can get 2 if they place them too close to each other.

Vs. dual Ost Royal Engineers isnt bad as you will want a armored car for the Flame HTs, which you can then use as a command vehicle after for spamming air cover. The AVRE will also mince their support weapons
