how to counter SKILL support guns as UKF?

OKW player seems to get 2 of them and all my infrantry gets blown up by them constantly, enemy thinks he's really good at the game because the use if leigs sure requires skill. I don't have advanced emplacement doctrine so I can't use counter barrage, any good tips on how to counter them?

Bren carrier with LMG upgrade as ussual, maybe even add a second one unupgraded, then the grenades research and then at least three royal sappers.
It is a really cancerous "tactic" but at least it turns OKWs usuall manpower advantage upside-down, so suddenly Birts get the chance to overwhelm them with numbers
Arlternative is to be "skilled" as well and rely on double sniper instead of pushes...

Dont even think about that, double leig is a hard counter to mortar pits.
