PQ said that lower scatter isn't necessarily better ("too low a scatter reduces accuracy at long-range and vs retreating units")

Ruins would actually be pretty sweet in CoH2, never thought of that! Pretty sure though someone will make an urban heavy map when the mappers are let loose! :D

Glad to see HTD addressed, although I'm a little bit discouraged to see the T-70 become even more beastly. Also, the doctrinal adjustments are interesting as well. I never bothered to even try the reinforcement abilities simply because I was unsure of how the mechanic actually worked. I'll have to give them a shot now

places like that would be interesting but please set them in moscow/berlin/kursk/stalingrad (some city) and rename them something about easternfront. (do not want another name like langreskaya.) maybe it will grow on me but id still rather they call them completely different names to fit the theme if nesscary.

P4's accuarcy reduced?! Seriously, relic? I hope thats only a nightmare. It's already terrible to see it miss an AT Gun 2 or 3 Times and a row from point blank range and its the only effective tank on german side and they nerf the accuarcy while kinda buffing all other tanks accuarcy? Oh Wait the Flakpanzer got nerf'd too Ôo
Only could not afford missing a Su85 already, ever hit counts here but THIS? geez. I get that they wanna mage russki T3 mor viable but now they can choose from either sniping german infantry or ram every tank ?!

the amount of people complaining about the scatter changes that have no idea what scatter is is TOO DAMN HIGH.

max scatter distance only comes into effect on roled misses. max scatter distance is the maximum distance from the intended target that the projectile will hit the ground. low max scatter distance means the projectile will hit close to the inteded target, even on roled misses, which makes a low scatter value better for anti-infantry purposes (even if it doesn't hit the guy the projectile was aimed at, it might hit another squadmember, or maybe even multiple ones). you still need to factor in the actual splash damage of the projectile though, so even if the max scatter distance is low, if the projectile has little to no AoE damage, it is very unlikely that anything in the vicinity of the inteded target will take damage.

the scatter changes will have little impact on actual gameplay, especially in tank vs. tank battles (apart from maybe the brummbär one, since the brummbär projectile has huge splash damage (or at least used to have); alpha brummbär was awesome... i don't think i lost a single game in alpha while going 4 pio -> T4 -> brummbär spam :-))

I think they over-nerf Opel, there will be no reason getting them now

300 manpower for a super squishy truck that can be killed by anything, why wouldn't we get an OP instead?

Dunno about strafing, need to test before saying anything about it

But this will make me kick the strafing doctrine out forever

it's now a fuel and ammo cache rolled into one for 100mp less. Still worth it.

Permanently Banned
Otherwise good, except the T70 and PIV scatter changes concern me.

Will have to see what it entails ingame, since I cant really get my head wrapped around how scatter works and effects things.

SU85 will now rule supreme morr than ever...

Also PaK is still shit...

1 CP Officer looks very effective. Not many people know about the 30 Muni smoke barrage & Fire up to all squads / tanks nearby.

Instead of complaining now, I will wait for the changes to go live and then play a dozen games or so and then post my observations in this thread! I am such a genius!
