Since I'm only playing 1v1 in the WBP, I've been playing a lot of 2v2 in live with a friend.

The thing its 2v2 feels like playing WW1: Early manouvers in the first 5 minutes, then everyone digs in and start shelling each other with mortars and some small skirmishes from one side to another until everyone reaches their final tiers and everyone grinds until they push the other back to their base. It feels like the late game its how much can the allies delay axis tier4/Tiger/Ace/KT or how fast the axis can reach it

Of course, this is an oversimplified version of what a 2v2 plays. It's like this on all levels of play or its kinda of a "ELO HELL"?

It's kind of CoH2 in a nutshell.

The early game doesn't really advance into a midgame or late game so much as starting units smear for as long as possible until the endgame.

There aren't a whole lot of global upgrades and no one can invest fuel into things like vet, and everyone needs fuel, VPs, and vet equally as much.

USF and OST are the only factions that don't get all their support weapons, AT guns, and mainline infantry out by their first tier. And even then they can get them pretty quickly.

What this means for 2v2s is that gameplay is more about teamwork than it is about your opponents.

Some match-ups and maps turn out like that almost every time, but most of the time it doesn't get to a point like that...
