R E I N T R O D U C T I O N: : :

This armored car is obliged to fill multiple roles, while being only excellent at one which is being a light AT platform and shredding all of its similarly priced counterparts and even some light tanks, and lackluster at the other job which used to be its main purpose; anti infantry and flanking support weapon teams. These 2 issues are addressed in this mod.

The 222 is already a cancerous cheap vehicle right now that you can use to swarm up your opponent, you want to buff it? are you crazy?


Rank 1: Adds the 'Camouflage' ability, which makes the 222 harder to detect.



what the f***, you want not only to make it able to kill a T70 alone but give it camo on top of it?

Nothing, just playing around, tweaking shit etc.

The 222 is already a cancerous cheap vehicle right now that you can use to swarm up your opponent, you want to buff it? are you crazy?

So you make this armored car like a light tank, but only available in the late game?
Sure, buff the MG on it, maybe that's cool, but wtf with the upgrade?

If anything, ost should get a side tech P3 in Tier 2 to push against the light armor.

Some people would argue for Hotchkiss but I disagree.

The crazy buffs, are not as crazy as one might might think. The Pintle LMG is just more responsive now and performs better against larger squads. The cannon upgrade costs a shit ton and require T3 research. Also the vehicle doesn't take damage from rifles, as it shouldn't, similar to M5 and an upgraded M20.

The intention behind the change was preventing the 222 from killing other scout cars the moment they were built, allow it to kill some infantry here and there, and once the early-mid game arrives, prevent opponent light tanks to bully ostheer, thanks to the new 120Muni Autocannon upgrade.


Posted the full list of changes to avoid further confusions about the cost and timing.

Some people would argue for Hotchkiss but I disagree.
CMD PIV is already there which is pretty identical, I am more excited for a stock Tier 2.5 hotchkiss.

That said, a generalist light tank for OST isn't a good idea.
