New OKW recon pass is 35 muni and 2cp
The same exact ability is on the major costs 50 and can't be fully controlled.
The USF doctrinal recon sweep which simply has a 360 degree view is almost double at 60 muni and 4cp

The OKW recon pass is doctrinal, whereas the Major's is non-doctrinal.
The USF recon loiter does exactly what it says on the tin for 80 ammo, it loiters around the area, whilst the 35 OKW recon is literally a strafe that is a once and done flyby. There's a difference in cost for a longer lasting recon.
The only thing that makes the loiter a bit useless is OKW's AA truck, which hardcounters USF's loiter.

1. Doctrinal units and abilities are not cheaper then non-doctrinal things. That's never really been the case. On top of that majors recon is limited in the direction you can call it in and comes much later.
2. Only the mechanized support commander has the loiter. Recon and mechanized have a single pass which costs 60 muni.

Yeah, 35 for a recon is way too cheap. Especially on a Commander that can instaspawn Fallschirms to easily wipe stuff.

I still fail to see any ridiculous aspects that you claim in your thread-title. It is cheap, but it's not that bad now especially with all the other OKW muni sinks that are around.

I still fail to see any ridiculous aspects that you claim in your thread-title. It is cheap, but it's not that bad now especially with all the other OKW muni sinks that are around.
It's a lot cheaper then identical abilities on the opposite side. How is that in any way fair.
And USF easily has as much muni sinks then okw does, if not more.
The damn thing is cheaper then some grenades.

It still does not make ridiculous. Every faction has a recon of widely different non-normalized costs.

Forgot they even had one. I just checked and it's apparently the same as the OKW one. No wonder stukas killing arty is such a damn problem, it's cheap as fuck.
And then why are the USF recons so much more expensive.

Guess beccasue it's non-doc.
But you can compre plenty other abilities.

I'm talking about the doctrinal one. 60 muni for a single strafe, that's what USF has to pay.

Why doc STGs cost more than non doc LMG?
Why non doc OKW booby is cheaper than SU doctrinal one?

If you actually have had some arguments compared to the costs of the other abilities , then you'd have some kind of ground. Writing things in LARGE BOLD LETTERS doesn't make it more true either. It still does not make it ridiculous; none of the recon costs make sense.

There are plenty things which do not have much sense.
1. Because OKW has a fuel penalty on it's armor since they were designed around this fact, and their armor proved to be too strong when priced per performance after removal of the flat penelties.
2. Because it's legitimately a better upgrade that ignores cover
3.Because it requires obers to actually set it up, rather then the soviet one which can be summoned from thin air.
Have any more terrible examples?
