Tanks bumping on invisible obstacle

Am'I the only one experiencing this stupid bug?

Your tank goes at max speed on a road, there is no obstacle. While moving you select for your tank and then suddenly it bump on something invisible like:

tank------>bump on something
<---Going backward
--------> Going forward again

At the end of the game when the Cromwell pop, it happens to the 2nd stug while reaching the mid map.

As mainly USF player I thought it was something only happening to Jackson. This bug is terrible since many time it let our target fleed away because lose it in the fog of war without firing.

I've noticed it quite often with other vehicles as well, not just tanks.

I swear it happens more often when you are *not* looking at the vehicle. It's as if while off-screen the tank uses a simplified physics model, but the moment the camera hovers over it a more complex model kicks in and it affects the vehicle behavior somehow.

See that happen almost every game. For me, it seems to happen mostly to panthers, but that's just what I've noticed the most.

And you think Relic will fix this? They already made vehicle pathing WORSE TWICE and explicitly said they wouldn't change it.

I made a poll when they fucked up vehicle reverse orders, people were nearly unanimous that the change should be reverted and Relic said "no."

don't getchur hopes up.

Well, pathfinding was crazy since forever, and in a patch where they made vehicles auto reverse it only became worse (vehicles coming on map their backside forward and spinning to reverse backside forward instead going forward normaly caused me lots of facepalms). I cant count games where i spammed exsact same command in exsact same point on the map which made tank spin on place in different derections, usually dying in a process. Its... jus CoH tank aces things.

This is how StuG drifting occurs :3

I suspect it could be something to do with network latency and how units report their position/respond to orders, but I know nothing of the code.

It's when you tell the vehicle a new order and the order interfere with another unit in it's predicted path. I could be wrong. I'm probably most likely wrong.

Bug present since vCoH, don't expect a fix. They're aware of it but don't want to fix it. ( Or just can't do it ? Like the "bang" bug, which is way more important to fix )

Yesterday Ive lost game because of this.

Tried to get behind Firefly with two Pz4 (one half-health).
I was almost on the left and right side of the Firefly and then my both Pz4 decided to insta reverse few meters away, directly in frnt of FF gun so FF took out full health Pz4 with tullips and then killed half-health easily...
