The reduced range affects frag grenades but smoke grenades are affected far less because they do not have to land on the HMG to be effective.
I would argue that the change has nerfed infantry using frag grenades but infantry using smoke grenades are nearly untouched.


They don't have to land on the HMG to have an effect, but landing a smoke grenade on the HMG is more effective than landing it some distance in front of it. The HMG does not have to fall back as much before being able to set up safely again and much less of its firing cone will be obscured.

They really need to look at ober price and reinforce time/price.Just awful..turned it into a near extict unit.

Fallschirm are good units,problem is reinforce is too high..that along with easy wipe probability.They should have high initial price because of their entry style,but reinforcement in accordance with that doesnt make sense as they lose that advantage immediately.Reinforcement should be a bit less.

Wehrmacht problems are well known.

buff grens damage per shot to 20, 4 man team with lowest ROF should be able to hold their own

Not sure why fallschirmjager are considered underperforming. Those things are devastating and get cloaking with vet. They can be sprung from buildings and they now have a good bundled grenade plus their original vehicle snare. They are truly an elite unit. I think obersoldaten with LMG upgrade need to be bugged at long range and have slightly nerfed mid and close range DPS to differentiate them from Volks with STG44
