Should all factions engineers be able to build same stuff?

All factions engineers are very different in building capabilities of very basic stuff, as barbed wire, sandbags, mines and anti-tank traps (maybe trenches). Do you find such asymmetry unjust? Should everyone be able to build more or less the same basic stuff with engies without commiting to doctrines (like soviets tank traps)?

I don't think that factions design differ that much to differ even in this 'small' detail.
