Holy shit it's been a part of the game since LAUNCH? I'm not even mad at Relic. We should've found this ourselves before. Anyways, I'm just kind of WHAAAATTTTT (stewie.gif) right now. It seriously explains so much looking back
I bought vCoH on January 3rd, 2007.
Still missing the days of vCoH 1.71. It had it's issues, like paks sniping 57s, and the strafe didn't work, but overall, it was probably the most balanced time in CoH history.
OF ruined that. CoH 2 is....balanced in a nasty way. Everyone has an equal stockpile of gamebreaking bullshit. USA is full of early game BS while the OKW doesn't get its BS until late game. It's just a question of how badly you exploit the faction's shit and how quickly, after a patch, you discover the gaping holes of bullshit Relic leaves. But either way, it's all BS. The only "BS" in vCoH that was gamechanging was the fast m8 vs a bunker.

But the bug make it more realistic. A vet die and a rookie come in, a weeker troop it will be i think. Can Relic make this bug to all factions

It's worded badly. I think at this point that blog post is doing more damage than good.
The engine having a flaw on how it handles veterancy and reinforce has been part of the game since launch.
Not having offensive veterancy working properly on infantry has been part since like 4 months ago when they tried to fix other related veterancy/stacking bugs.

But the vets can give good advices to the rookies. And when the last vet dies I wouldn't call the squad a 1-2-3-4-5 star squad :d

Example: A Grenadier squad with one vet 0 model, 1 vet 3 and 2 vet 2 models

SIMPLE FIX: Revert vet application to squad instead of applied to models like before so that vet will work. I swear relic bashes themselves all the time.

and yes i know someone will say but the bug has been there since release. well no shit its just because no one applied bonuses to models yet that the bug hasnt shown itself until now. Its a bug with models of a squad.

OKW should NOT have vet 5 since they have full resources. They become way over powered late game. They were hard enough to beat even with vet bug and now they are way OP! The chrek blobs are even more powerful. The OKW literally only need Volks with chreks until King Tiger then game over. Tired of the German OP reign! The USF are almost useless now. AEC is back to being a POS. Just about everything was nerfed to the ground because of axis whiners.
