British sniper vs buildings

I don't know if this is intended but the british sniper seems to miss squads in a building way more often than the german sniper. It's accuraction against garrison squads needs to increase.

I've seen this too. I think it is due to the fact that British snipers sometimes target the buildings themselves, although I'm not 100% sure.

With the British sniper, you are meant to 'halt' and let the sniper target the squad himself. If you do it manually by targeting the building, the sniper will literally shoot the building.

no idea if my informtions are right, but all snipers have the same x% chance to kill units in buildings. Of course the german sniper has a faster Rof and therefore his chance seems to be "higher"

I didn´t know that thank you, no wonder why my british sniper always misses the squad inside.

British sniper actually has a higher chance of killing stuff in buildings, with a 0.5 accuracy modifier against them compared to soviet 0.4 and ostheer 0.325. All snipers have a base accuracy of 200%.

All sniper u need to press S, but once u do that..u notice 1 more thing, that Sov Sniper Vision is much more longer than Ost n Brits Sniper..where i can atk without them atk me back,..unlike brits n Ost u need to shot n move back n shot again..

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

hmm could be some bug then, coz everytime i use brits n Ost sniper..i need to shot n move back while Sov sniper once i see their MG in house just stand there n press S, leave it n micro other unit while my sniper doing the job..

i try to give u some Replay if i had some success with it, rarely playing COH2 right now, dont know y

What is the point of him targeting the building?

Honestly when would a player ever want to target a building instead of those inside the building?

The snipers gun as some AT profile, which makes it prioritize buildings over models when you manually click the building. However, the snipers 'auto' priority is to shoot models, so that's why you need to halt and let him do it himself :)

He is a sniper, he needs precise orders, i used the right click.
"WHAAAAHt? you wan'me to attack da buildin' you stoupid frog-eater?.. ok! i'll attack da goddam bildin".

In a low health building you can take a whole squad. Doesn't happen very often but worth all the annoyance when it does.
