russian armor

I reinstalled this game after 10 months unable to play help.

I cant play now..

I last played on march 2015.. i have 1400+ hours in game.

Only difference between then and now is i have Windows 10 and new GPU. The game wont launch, integrity check doesnt show anything unusual.

For some reason i cant even post in Steam forums, Please help, Can i know where i can raise this issue?

if its any help the full game is just 21.9GB i remember it being around 35GB so is there soemthing wrong?

Mine's taking just under 24gb, I doubt file integrity is an issue. Which card are you using and which drivers? I reckon it's related to display.

i have some problems too , after a year not playing i've installed the game again, after december patch i have constant bug splat ( i'm already playing with only 15-20 fps ) and i need to turn off avast to play the game , otherwise it won't launch.

using win 10 too.

hope someone can help you man.. :thumb:

I wonder if there are saved graphics settings in a folder somewhere which are now not corresponding with your new setup... possible?

You might need to look for the file that saves this setup and delete it so that it starts with default settings.

I've had to do this for some other games like Crysis before

I had the same problem, I fixed it by going back to Windows 8

I fixed it.. went to steam folder ran game as administrator which fixed it .. i think it wasnt able to create the folder to save local sync data . now its working fine.

Glad to hear it is working.

As Stormless suggested sometimes there is a mismatch of data and you need to rename or delete your Company of Heroes 2 folder located in:
\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 2

This allows the game to generate a new one

As Stormless suggested sometimes there is a mismatch of data and you need to rename or delete your Company of Heroes 2 folder located in:
\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 2

This allows the game to generate a new one


Although its working there seems to be a problem in saving settings, and even saving replay.

Every time i restart settings goes back to old one when i was using old GPU. I went to COH2 folder in doucments and it seems to have only readonly privlege, if i remove the readonly it comes back again after i close the properties.

So is there any workaround for this? i can still play game properly, just that i cant save replays or graphic settings or preferences
