lmg42 is not an early game upgrade, HMG42 can be smoked and stolen.


You probably don't know what early game is.

Anyway good luck with that, skilled players will never loose their hmg42 just to smoke and grenades.

It's simple son, you can't have PIV or panthers without map control.

USF might be the most balanced faction, literally no hugely OP units that wipe like flame tanks, avre/sturmtiger and heavy tanks.

They have the most fragile tank destroyer, the most fragile medium tanks, the most fragile/worst healing and imo the poorest cost efficient starting infantry.

The only thing that could be remotely OP are the howie, which you need to set up close, thus making it a unit you have to constantly reposition.

Compare USF to all factions and you come to the conclusion that the only thing USF is best at is having more starting power that gives you more resources in theory thus giving you faster tanks.

You also come to the conclusion that almost every unit USF has is worse then other factions and overpriced as well.

Imagine a sherman with flames, it wouldn't even be OP, it dies to 4 pak shots.

The moment your first sherman arrives you have such a small window of using it, hell, in the current meta of going Stuart it's been delayed so much that it doesn't even have a window. When your sherman arrives you need to completely change your (atacking) style to a defensive style that looks for openings.

I wish all factions could be like USF/UKF, you can't make mistakes as them because of the huge cost units have.

Imagine if Relic made all starting infantry from all factions suddenly 320 MP but the reinforcement costs the same, it would actually solve the current "outspam" meta. It would cost alot to replace them and keeping the units alive would be so rewarding.
