War Spoils pop up won't go away

Just booted up coh2, went into a custom game vs bot, went to change my skins and the pop up that alerts you of the recent war spoils you've won wouldn't go away. I clicked 'Okay' and pressed escape a thousand times but it just kept refreshing itself, so I couldn't play the game. Luckily I could still go to the menu and click exit to windows. So I did that and it's fine now, but yeah....

Happens to me a lot, it hasn't happened recently (touch wood) but what you did is what I have to do too.
