During a game today my is2 went head on with his tiger 1 my is2 failed to beat his tiger. There was no at (we each put or at in other battles at the time) or Infantry just the tiger and the is2. Which is better? Or did I lose to bad rng?

You lost because of RNG. The armour is way higher on a IS-2

Tiger: 180; 200; 220 // 300 // 4.7 - 5.3
IS-2 : 190; 220; 250 // 375 // 6.2 - 6.6
IS-2s are superior to Tigers in a 1v1 scenario but RNG has a pretty huge influence (especially in tank fights).

how did you two engage each other? how often did you and him get rear armour shots? how did he out transverse yours?

I also like to add, this post is super vague. all i'm getting out of this is that, my tank died to his.

Frontal armor was facing each other. No rear Armor hits. His tank was vet 1 mine was vet 0
