This is something I recently encountered and it caught me off guard (as I'm still learning the new meta) but I was wondering if anyone else has seen this.
This guy never bought Ost T1 or even T2. He just spammed Ass Grens/Mg42s which work very well together and while I was struggling to fight for map control I finally got my T3 up and a Quad Half Track which he got out an Ostwind almost immediately afterward. Needless to say the game was over.
It seemed pretty damn OP at the time based on how fast he out it out.
Anyone see this strategy (Fast Ostwind/P4)

Skipping T1 means he doesn't have any anti-tank...when you see this strategy I would recommend building T1 and two M3's,after that upgrade your engineers with flamethrowers and place them in the M3's...then enjoy his doom buhahaha
Oh and don't place the scout cars in front of the machine-guns,they are quite squishy

He saved the AWESOME amount of 10+20fuel by skipping building both tiers.
OH: -20+40+45+75 > 140f (tech) + 100f (tank) > 240f
Assuming no AT nades and/or Molotovs (25f for each) and T2 (with T1 it's -10f)
SU: -50+50+80 > 80f (tech) + 30f (M5) > 110f/160f
EVEN if you tech AT nades + molotov, you have an 80f edge (3mins) This just mean that you really screwed the early game.
