This unit is hard to micro. And I feel if can get better it would be much easier to win.
Sometimes oponent just can get 1-2 tanks. And you being unable to control ZIS invseting lots of money in T4 ans SU85. For easy win. And even vs light tanks proper micro of ATG helps a lot.

So please some advices and replays of how to play effectivly with ZIS.
1. Vs light tanks
2. vs medium and heavy tanks
3. vs schwer HQ

VS Schwere i like doing ground Attack, stay out of range so u dont get shreded by it, u didnt hit it every shoot with GA but u can destroy it, without spending munition kappa

Is it right that fire arc of ZIS must reach center of schwer HQ to hit it? It seems that actual ZIS range is 1.5 cm (on screen) shorter than arc.

i blob paks all the time. its the easiest way to kill armor actually.

Can you tell or show how do you do it?

Does it mean you ussualy select the ATG and A+click with supporting infantry. Or ussualy position first, move infantry forward. And wait for tank to get inside arc of fire.

How is asking for help a troll thread?

OP: risky but try putting all AT guns in one control group, keep them behind the action and attack move them forward a bit when you see some armor

1.Bind all your at guns to one control group.

2.keep at guns BEHIND your Frontline AT ALL TIMES

3. When your infantry encounter enemy armor, immediately press your at gun control group number (for me it's 1) and a-move in the direction the enemy armor is in. 2 paks will kill enemy mediums in 2 volleys, t85s require 3 paks to kill in 2 volleys.

4. Make sure your at guns NEVER EVER move past your infantry after you issue an attack move. Always micro them back into fog after you've destroyed or forced enemy armor off.

You have to make absolutely sure you don't lose paks to the enemy. Obviously katyushas are a good counter to this technique so be careful and micro your splits well
