Right-click on the DAs.tga, or whatever you have under "info" for the preview image, and Remove Burn Settings.

If you removed it from the other location, and added it again at the new location, you did not give it burn settings. If that is the case, you should be able to build.

If you still have an issue, just delete DAs.tga from Mod Builder and try building again.

All I did was delete DAs.tga or remove the Burn Settings (both worked). I am not sure why it would still cause you issues.

"wh01" is my faceplate's name. I'm not using any .tga preview picture.
I followed the instructions on modding.companyofheroes.com. I have FlexSDK and newest version of Java installed and checked path which is correct. Java folder has bin folder with java.exe.
Any ideas?

I made my own. What was wrong about that?
EDIT: Well, I edited the faceplate.png with photoshop and saved it into ...MODNAME/data/ui.

Well, there are lots of things that could be wrong. You might not have saved it as a .png, or with the right dimensions, or the right format, etc.

No. I checked it, the png is alright. Same size, name, ending everything.

None. Maybe start over, and troubleshoot it step-by-step. For example, just start with an empty mod. Build. Then, add the faceplate. Build. Then, add the attributes. Etc.

tried. Step by step. simply not working. Always same error. If I leave out attributes or faceplate, both cause same error.
My pc is super clean, newest framework, win updates, regular CCleaner, never causing any problems, performing like butterworks.
I always solved any (!!) problem I ever had on pc, this one seems like a tough one.
Any thought still appreciated. wont give up since Ive already created beautiful faceplates I need to use now.

Can you upload your mod and PM me a link, so that I can take a look? It is very difficult to troubleshoot without seeing what you have done.

It built fine for me. Double check your Game, Tools, Java, and Flex SDK paths.
Also, if you have 64-bit Windows, try installing 64-bit Java.

In Mod Builder, under Options, are your Game and Tools path. Make sure you set those up correctly.
