Im getting this message upon start-up.
I follow the instructions and exit but there is no option to update.
When I load the game up again, the same message persists.
Anyone else have this issue or know how to update the game?

I get the same thing and my graphics settings reset everytime after I close the game. I have deleted the COH2 folder in My Games and reinstalled the game and the graphics problem persists, plus after the last patch this stupid thing is happening now too.

It's probably because you have preordered Brits. You can uncheck the Brits DLC in the Steam settings and it worked for me.

You guys need to verify your files on steam.
Right click on Company of Heroes 2 --> Properties --> local files --> Verify integrity of game cache.
If your still having issues, delete you company of heroes 2 folder in MY Games folder and then try booting the game again.

It's probably because you have preordered Brits. You can uncheck the Brits DLC in the Steam settings and it worked for me.
