I'm currently watching a program on NOVA about these two brits who got imprisoed in a Nazi Germany Castle Prison in Colditz, and in order to escape they built a Glider and took off the roof. True Story, and a great read/watch. I hope someone is able to locate the stream cause the video is really cool.

Actually, they never did escape from Colditz using the glider - they were liberated by Allied forces before they could actually attempt to escape with it. Still, it was a damn creative idea to escape, and it probably would have worked.
