Im running CoH2 completely maxxed with a HD 6970 2GB @ 1920X1200. It doesnt take anything fancy to max out CoH2 tbh.
How is this possible? I'm on exactly the same resolution, just with HD 7970 (and Intel 2500K @ 4.8 GHz), I can get a stable 60fps only with AA on low, GPU use is around 50-60% normally and nearly 2gb vram usage, if I up the AA to medium GPU use is ~80% with 60fps but during blizzards it maxes out with FPS dropping to 40-45, vram usage is around 2.3 GB, it also artifacts with flamers on AA medium. AA above medium does not get stable 60fps even during non-blizzard periods so it baffles me how can you "max completely", even when at medium AA it takes more than 2Gb vram? Not calling you out, genuinely curious!
I'm running on 13.4 drivers with 8Gb of ram.
