Question, does everyone get the rewards or only people who have participated in the event?

Pretty sure everyone who logged in over the period got the two commanders last year.

Last year you had to redeem a code which you could get from a link they posted.
I thought, because of the achievement this year, that relic maybe would give them to people who had won the participation achievement.
Giving it to the whole playerbase would kind of ruin the whole "exclutivity" of the prices!

I've checked my Steam account (and gone into the game) and the only thing I see is are the "achievements" Romeo is dead and Snore, Snore, Total Bore. Does this mean I get the commanders I didn't have or should I be looking for something else....and if so what and where?

Last year you had some time period to claim them from the shop.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.
