Pretty common when my friends and I play team games. We're between lvl 40-90 and face almost entirely high prestige 1 and above. It's kind of annoying but at the same time levels don't always equal skill. We are plenty of high level people who are frankly terrible.

It's a problem that also has roots in the relatively low active player base for CoH2, especially after the devs and community have driven away all but the die hards.

Having only a small pool of players means that it's harder to find a balanced match.

Unfortunately, it starts a death spiral for the game as newer players come into the game only to encounter a wall like this, and leave.

What Jazzhead and Turtle said, also: were you playing as an arranged team or all random? Also, how many games have you played in 4v4 as that faction?

I'm not asking to try to judge your skill, but because the first 10 games you play with a new arranged team, with a different faction, or in a different game mode (1v1, 2v2, etc) are placement matches. During the placement matches you can get matched against anyone.

So that is maybe a possibility also.

It's not appropriate for Balance, TBH.

I mean: if you define 'Balance' at its loosest, then it slips in. But honestly, mismatches in automatch are not really what this sub forum is about.
