They never did.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

i recall mine kills would show up in the kill counter thing for the unit,i assumed they were also getting vet too.

In COH 1 units that placed mines got XP from their mine kills

Yeah i was talking about vcoh.

I do think the unit that kills units gets XP, now that unit is the mine itself

i doubt it. OKW trucks are valid targets. don't have a vet table though.
