hi relic, im about to quit coh2 with my at friend because we just cant get over it to constantly play vs rank 2-30 in 2v2at while beeing rank 2000 ourselves. just no fun to get raped 9 times out of 10. btw i never saw such a moronic p2w system like in coh2, (even though its a full price game lol)

The matchmaking is kind of silly sometimes due to the player base, and the time of day you choose to play. The longer your search que goes, the more it will expand the acceptable elo for you to be matched against. You could also try playing at more popular hours of the day.

Many high rank player lose sometimes which greatly decreases their rank ^_^. Anyways you should be happy if you getting mached against good players, this will boost your skills for sure.

Sometimes I just stop the queue for a second and start again. Sometimes it immediately finds me a player of my own level (ballpark) when I do that, which is a bit sketchy. But sometimes I just let it queue and don't really care who I end up playing against.

I guess it's always a chance to learn, you just need the right mind set :)

it is true, to some extend. if it would happen on rare occasions it would be a good lesson but take our last 10 games, 9 of them were against high ranks (from rank 2 to rank ~120) which were 9 loses and our that spend in there were about 30min*9=270mins of gametime of pure frustation.

its like letting silver 5 guys matching against high dia/challenger in LoL, its just no fun.

You're right, but with such a small playerbase there's nothing you can do really.

If they adjusted the ELO range in a way that high lvl players wouldn't find rank 500-2000 players and such, they would just stop playing because they can't basically find any games - thus making the playerbase even smaller.

endless circle like it seems, but how comes we never face newbies then? i mean we are both lvl 60 with somewhat 150 hours or so each and i cant remember a game which was against same lvl/hours playtime

Cant see the problem here as you got a winrate of 55%. If you had a wainrate of 10% as you are stating in the thread there would be a problem. And then poiting the thread to relic that they are loosing players because you cant win every game is just silly. Someone have to loose in a game.

But I dont understand why you got two ranks as axis. Another bug maybe.

9/10 playing against rank 2-30? I think he doth exaggerate too much.

If you can't stand losing to better players, there is no competitive game that will make you happy. Focus on improving your play and learning from those players than being upset about it.

More probably he will rage and leave the game.

And current balance doesn't help.

i wrote 2- ~120 but thats a little bit exaggerated, when in reality it is something between 2- ~500. which has no effect on the core issue i mentioned..

i play for a competitive game, i want to be challenged. i want close matches, not stomps(either side)

Well, that's a huge world of difference.
That also applies if it's AT or random.

hi, 1v1 and 2v2 are skilled matches/try hard, I think new/casual players should focus on 3v3~4v4, less multi-line control, and easier opponents.

BTW, play axis

no, 3v3 4v4 are just huge spamfests.

bf4 and p2w? despite this game is a letdown, its not p2w in any sense.

The only way to stop losing to better player is to become the very best, like no one else before.

I'm sitting in front of my PC stewing over all of the awful partners I got today. I don't understand why I can't at least get people IN THE SAME COUNTRY that I can communicate with.

I get some dipshit named Polaroid that's "never played as OKW before" and doesn't know what the fuck to do, and then a guy named Ph that literally made 3 squads and then 4 fuel depots while I lost the map 1v2. I have a 10-3 record on Germans in 1v1 and when I try to learn teams I get grouped with fucking retards. Can't do it anymore. Makes the game miserable.

I know that feeling man, i tend to play 4vs4 sometimes and basicly i pair up with a friend and we play together on our front and we usually win but then u see the other side and the other 2 players never said anything they were just passivly building defenses while all enemy players started concentrating on our side, and even with all the casualties we inflict the other player. At some point we ask for help and they send like 1 or 2 units but the point is when your ally player has shitty map awarness and does nothing you will lose, We constantly had fightings in our sectors so we didnt have even time to check what was going on the rest of the map but. You know what was funny thing, the defenses they built were wrecked in 2 secs when the lonely enemy player moved his troops...
