As an (still) exclusive Axis player, who plays mostly 3vs3 and 4vs4s I must say I'd love to see Pershing hit the (coh2) field soon. As an obvious fan of Axis heavy stuff, it's "almost" always really fun and intense when you meet a decent match in the field of battle (ie. IS2's, ISU's etc.) and same was with the Pershing in the vCoH and Pershing Ace in BK mod. Yet just implementing it overnight without a complete design overhaul would bring all kinds of troubles. A Pershing commander would render most of the other commanders "unpopular" and complementing it with USF economy and Jackson (and it's range) would mean a potential balance catastrophe. Not to complicate things further I'll say that the current commander system and design is far from perfect and the current meta data proove it. I'm very supportive of the ideas that suggest overall non doctrinal "basic" heavy unit such as KT, for all factions ie. Tigers and IS's for Soviets and OH and that would mean Pershing for the USF. Given the combination of enough xp points, resources and manpower - every faction should be able to field one 'basic' heavy tank. While specialised units such as Jagdtiger, Elephant and ISU would follow obvious doctrinal logic. As someone on this forum stated, commanders/doctrines should be about special and unique abilities/perks/playstyles, not about having or not having the 'luxury' of some of the basic means of war (ie. Heavy tanks). Unfortunately Relic really took few bad turns with their Commander system/implementation/design that I'm not so sure it can be rectified without turning everything upside down :/ Anyhow - Heavy tanks to the people ! Pershing included !

So the German uniforms is the cause of searching disparity? Sounds like NAZI friendship with Jewish people-AKA complete Joke.

The more people searching Aixs is because Aixs got more toys to play with, I don't remember the COH2 aixs uniform is cooler than the COH1, the searching disparity at that time were almost even.

It was a joke mate.

LOL

"unrealistic"? We can have obersoldaten with FLIR scopes on their rifles. We have Ostwinds, of which only 44 were ever constructed. We have magical IR halftracks that light up half the map. We've got JLI and Falls with super secret Nazi teleportation devices that allow them to pop out of any building.

Yet we somehow can't have a Pershing (that actually saw combat) because it's not "realistic"

I was obviously thinking of it as a possibility of one player alone. When one man can field such combo it might be regarded as OP, but when there's two or more it's nothing but good teamplay. I remember one time one premade team fielded a combo of 2 IS2's backed by a 4 Jacksons.. 3 or 4 of my team mate's Panthers perished in (literally) seconds. Yet.. then they run into my twin King Tigers backed by Elephant and Jagdtiger. 90 seconds later they surrendered. It was one of those marathon 4vs4 war stories and one of the most exciting endgames I ever played, and without all of that heavy metal it wouldn't be half as fun as it was.

I whould love to see pershing in Coh2 but it doesn't fit in americans faction dessing. But realsim doesn't matter at all in Coh2, OKW has also stuff what aren't really relastic. you know that rocket thing.

A player can technically field a KT and Jagd at the same time

one player can field a king tiger and a jagdtiger. that said it's nearly impossible as you have to have VERY little of anything else due to population concerns not to mention the huge amount of resources necessary for both.

Just to point out for all the people asking for a sherman jumbo: The sherman jumbo was outclassed by the easy 8, the ez8 was the ultimate sherman design of WWII, making the jumbo the big bad "heavy" of the US faction wouldn't make much sense, it would be more similiar to a KV1, slow, good armor, kinda shitty cannon.
