To start

Ostrruppen Commander


After the recent buff to Osts, it seems like they offer a new play style for Ostheer.


Luftwaffe Supply

I bought it a long time ago, before it got super broken for a few months. :p Mainly because it offered a new style for team games, letting one player take on a support role.

Lightning War

Fun fact - in the German version of the game, both this and "Blitzkrieg" have literally the exact same name: "Blitzkrieg." They also share some abilities. #CommanderBloat. Mainly to have an extra Tiger back when I didn't have access to Opel Blitz.

Mechanized Assault

Assault Grenadiers offer a new way of playing the game early game. Also, Tiger.

I've never felt the need to get any US, OKW, or soviet commanders, but then again, I got Rifle Company in a drop, so that may explain that.

Don't buy the ones above and not a single commander. You can still play well without theses commanders and get them via war spoil.

I know, they just looked fun.

And the odds of getting any particular commander through warspoils are not favorable. :D

I buy everything. Reasons:

1. OCD. Simply need to collect it all.
2. I like variety.
3. I want to support the game.
4. A fool and his money are soon parted.

I ussualy buy 'unique' ones who completly change game of style like osttruppens, luftwaffe, close air support ( you can't buy it, but war spoil drop) and so on....

Sure, I like this game very much but I will NEVER EVER buy anything but addons like WFA.
Simply because I bought it for a full price when it came out and I am expecting to get the full potential out of a full priced game and I don't want the p2w become more and more important.
It is though God by command has withdrawn every other throne.
And God is saying 'No. These people will deal with me alone.'

First off all. Tripwire so gud, 10 ammo for a whole dead squad ? + sight.
Vehicle capture point can win games, blitzkrieg save a tank. Fair Deal i think

I generally don't buy DLC. I was considering for a while to buy a commander, but in the end I decided not to. I do not really want to support this DLC policy and I think most of them are overpriced.

Really not sure about Lighting war. It looks fancy on the surface, but it doesn't really offer anything better than any other commander. It's like a cross between elite troops and jaeger infantry, while being worse than both.

Meh I just buy everything to support the game. If it stops improving and I stop playing then I won't buy anything more, but quite enjoy it for now.

Haven't bought any WFA commanders yet though. Once they finish off war spoils I'll probably complete the collection then.

I also bought some because i wanted to support the game but Relic/Sega have gone to far with that. Release of DLC and then again release DLC for the DLC which is more expansive then the original DLC. I mean WTF?
It is to much what they are doing.
I take my chances with War Spoils for now. Maybe and only maybe if they reduce the prices of the commanders (must be very low compared to now) then i will buy some again.
