I know the OKW has a flak emplacement, and it is doctrinal.

The Soviet's however don't have any source to have an mg nest, I remember seeing a commander screenshot with a build able bunker in it.

I suggest that we decide what we can do.

MG nests in this game are rather fragile in this game anyway, so I've never really felt like I've needed one.

There was a beta soviet commander called Defense in Depth.

The USF one is an epic fail crap, and the Ostheer bunker isn't any better since the nerf.

The USF one is fantastic depending on the situation. You throw it down in urban maps, and load your rear ech inside it. Infinite rifle grenades to clear stuff.

I would be interested in hearing if anybody used the US dirt mounds successfully. When i started off, I made it for its novelty value as a speed bump on top of fuel points. Then I'd throw my one rear echelon into it.

I stopped doing it pretty soon.

It's probably because the your squads get insta gibbed if something like a rifle nade lands in it.

Very situational.

Great for defending maps like trois point. Infi-rifle nades. Just get it behind some cover and have another unit provide LoS- rear ech inside give zero fucks about being able to see their target. Or walls and forests being in the way...

huh? they have maxims which are the longest range mg in the game. mg buildings suck due to at. At cant really harm mgs though.

Maxim has the same range as other mg's.
