The Rifle Commander paid DLC is already available so you'll still see a ton of it.
I just know they're going to nerf it into oblivion next patch tho.

Russian/USA early ambulance push is beastly.
Ambulance supports multiple maxims to prevent Ost mortars from taking out the maxims. Rifles push off volks and grens with support of maxims. Snipers can't kill maxims fast enough with ambulance reinforcing.

The map always plays a role but I agree that Sov/USF or Sov/Sov is probably the best atm.
Double Sniper/Guards into Kat/callins backed by a good USF player is nearly unbeatable.
