So I got myself one or two commander DLC's over the last sale and one of them included assault grenadiers. At first I thought they'd be a really cool unit but after playing with them, it seems (to me) like the only thing they have going for them is their grenades. They have good rifles, but they just seem to die off too quickly when fighting conscripts. I normally have to keep them in green cover for them to be used without dying too fast. Is this how they were meant to be used? Or is there a better way??

Assault Grens are extremely map dependent and their sprint ability is pretty much a hard counter to Maxims.

No, I really like them, when mixed with normal grenadiers or suported by mgs they are excellent.

whoops wrong thread but im gonna close this one because there are already enough of these. apparently they were never bugged was just a ui glitch.
