So I'm about to build a new rig, something i've been meaning to do for a long time. Its specifically for high performance PC usage (work related stuff) and for playing CoH2 and maybe some AOE3 when I'm feeling like it.
Im pretty dead set on putting a GTX 770 or 780 in it, but nothing higher currently because the ones above that don't seem to have that much of a noticeable difference in frame rates, at least according to the tests I have seen posted online.
Are there any GPUs out there that will run CoH2 on MAX settings, including AA at full?
I believe there are some new GPUs coming later this year…? Anyone got details on that?
Does anybody have more extensive benchmark results for the 770 and 780 running 1920x1080 with some different CoH2 settings? Preferably to include the AA options set high.

I have a GTX780 and I did game at 1920X1200 and it ran COH2 perfectly. I'm now using the same card for 2560X1440 and it has no problem with it there either. That is with everything maxxed, low AA (you dont need more and wont see a difference), and vsync off.
GTX 770 is old architecture Nvidia reused from the GTX 680, dont bother with it. GTX 780 and above is newer architecture.
Maxwell (next gen Nvidia) high end cards are not slated til either end of the year or early next year.

I agree with Bud. Grab a 780 which is around $500 now or wait a year for Maxwell. you will have no issues with a 780 especially if you game at 1080p.
Here are some performance test with my 780,latest Nvidia driver and newest coh2 patch
1080p
Everything maxed, AA HIGH = 42 FPS Average
Everything maxed, AA LOW = 67 FPS Average
1440p
Everything maxed, AA HIGH = 26 FPS Average
Everything maxed, AA LOW = 49 FPS Average
The game runs better than these test show also. The bench is pretty demanding which you shouldn't see in an average game.

Thanks for that. 42FPS at 1080p is absolutely fine for me.
