I would really like to know what happened there

Guard - military units, ships and unification of the Armed Forces of the USSR, received the honorary title in and converted Guard - for heroism, courage and high military skill displayed in battles during the Great Patriotic War, as well as parts of rocket artillery and the newly formed compounds (association ), which consisted of (compound), previously received the title of Guards.
The motto of the Guard in Great Patriotic War:
"Where Guard comes - the enemy will not stand;
Where defends Guard - the enemy will not pass;
What Guards feat? This means kill the enemy and stay alive himself. And if you die, it is expensive to give your life."
