Coh2.serealia.ca say that riflemen and infantry sections have same recieved accuracy at vet 0 and vet 3.
Isn´t that a bit weird, when IS stays at long range and riflemen have to close in to be at optimal range.

No it doesn't? Not sure what squad you were looking at but it IS are .85 at vet 0, riflemen are .97
There target sizes are pretty similar at vet 3
