Distinguish human from AI in Attribute Editor?

Is there a way to make a unit/ability/upgrade available only to human players or only to AI players in the Attribute Editor?

A workaround which I use:
Create an empty upgrade with ui_position: -1, 0 costs, no hotkey and owner is player. That makes the upgrade invisible for human player while the AI can still unlock it. Then add this upgrade to all HQ's and add it in ai_economy/upgrades with an utility of 1000.

Once that works you can use it for everything. Units can require the player_upgrade to lock and hide it for humans or require to not have the upgrade to lock it for the AI.

Clever.

Now that you've called my attention to ai_economy, I may be able to fix most of the problems without detecting the AI directly.
