Agreed, bad RNG for DevM and a simple build. The Stolen MG massively helped make it work too.

This is more for a thread 'cons instead of guards' and so i can make a point for Mr. Smith that Guards are pretty effective against grens/Ost.

How to play soviets:

Step 1, choose your mainline infantry to build exclusively: Penals, Guards, ~~Conscripts~~

Step 2, rush T70

Step 3, choose your mainline tank to build exclusively: T34, Sherman

100% Formula for success

2. multiple axis lights arrive way before t70.
3. panther hardcounters that. Camping with mass stugs too.

Noobs are greedy going for tiger first for a+click play. But that is not the best vs #3.
Also sniper,mg spam etc. can be used vs penal,guard. So couod be 100%. wrong.
