Whenever you kill the truck, remember that he can't buy shrecks, nor use nades. His only muni sink would be mines and his only AT the rak. If you don't capitalize, that's your problem.

I'm not sure regarding the DPS department. Remember that you always hit vehicles and it's more a matter of sheer damage + RoF rather than accuracy.

Finally: this is as intended, as USF being able to reinforce pass 100 popcap, fuck up targetting and freeing popcap by sitting out crews. Intended as seeing OH+SU tech through FoW (at this point it looks like a "feature") and many other problems features.

I'll put it simple. If you think that you lost to truck push/crush, you would had lost to normal play anyway.

I guess that only way to counter abuse is to abuse yourself, time to go back to making 6 shermans vs OKW in 2v2.

Also like I said in other post, I usually don't get bothered by truck push seeing as I will go early AT nades (for soviets) if I see it happening, and more often than not I kill the abusing truck. This one time I figured it would be fine not to, and I was wrong. So sorry elchino but I don't really see this as a L2P issue like you believe it is.

It's true that I may very well had lost the game regardless, but that doesn't change the circumstances of this particular situation. I didn't lose that cons squad because I was a less-skilled player.

there are ways to play around the early SWS. You can ghost conscript sandbags, for example. In my opinion it's pretty abusive but I also think using the truck aggressively is abusive, so in that sense I suppose it's "fair".

In a perfect game neither of those things would be possible but for now you just have to do the best you can with the tools the game provides you.

Completely agree.. Just liek in real like somethings aint fair so the best thing to do is to face it with what ever you got.. :)

Why did you not leave the building which was about to be crushed? You had more than 20 seconds to actually do so.

Sadly as a OKW player you are forced to crush buildings with your trucks, since you can not clear buildings with your units until fuel intensive units arrive.
Every faction has a flame-thrower with exception of OKW.

Yes OKW are forced to play like this. Try playing OKW vs Soviet on maps with good building positions for maxims and demos in buildings. OKW flak HT can barely clear one MG from a building before it has to retreat for repair. ISG? lol what. Stuka? Yeah its a great late game unit but early game 1vs1 it's way to risky investing that much into AI.

Soviet on the other hand just need to spend 15 munitions to clear a building or place a demo for a squad wipe since OKW suck at clearing mines/demos. So until OKW get a more reliable non-doctrine way to deal with buildings early game and/or remove demos from buildings I would say this truck abuse is fair play.

Every faction have something to abuse but as usual its easier to deflect blame rather than to accept the fact that the vast majority of top players are abusing the game, more or less. It's not the players fault but poor unit design. Alot of it could be fixed with a few tweaking but instead Relic listen to the COH mob that scream nerf this and that.

i don't get why sws come out so fast anyway. you can use it with impunity for 1-2 min pushing units and crushing buildings and some stupid fences in front of bases in some maps.

its on the same level as ghost wires/sandbags/tank trap etc etc.
