First match this patch and I got to try out the buffed IS2. I'm not sure if those stuka strikes leave flares or not, but I sure couldn't see (or dodge) them for the life of me .

Hehe that was a crazy Stuka airstrike indeed. I'm not even sure how much damage it did (Fog of War). But when I came back I saw an abandoned IS-2 
The IS-2 still can't penetrate the frontal armor of the heavier German tanks. I guess the Soviets just have to use a good combined force (ATG's, AT nades, IS-2 and some arty/airstrike) to take on the German heavy tanks.

That one didn't do much. Both tanks were nearly dead. It was the one prior to that which hurt as it wiped out a good portion of my infantry blob (including the panzershrecked up shock troop squad 
).
IS2 has something like a 55% chance to penetrate the panther while the panther has something like 37% - 42% chance (depending on the exact penetration of it's gun). It's better off now than it was before when it had a good chance of bouncing panzer 4 armor!

Nice Game
but ...
- Barbed Wire? Destroy Bridge on German side - repair Bridge on north Side?
- No Antitanks Paks (Soviets ambush tactics are very nice). I build always Paks!
- Rammability with T34 on Panther was useless!
- Soviets artillery Barrage was useless too
