I must say I agree with Sage this time. The KV-8 is just so fucking hard to kill. I tried using panther to chase it down and most of the time rounds bounce off or do little damage.
Shoot that thing at front armor even with Elephant ? Good luck.

It's not true.
I like when german want to counter HEAVY TANK ANTI INFANTRY (doctrine dependant btw...)with grenadiers or even 1 alone panzergrenadier which doesn't even cost 400. You have to mix, OMG yeah mixing or you will be hardcountered (very rare as german, isn't it ?)
I like too when german feel "ok" to get a tiger ace without a single amount of fuel...Since the big patch where tank building require a lot of fuel, all doctrines with "direct tank without T3/T4" are very powerful.
In this game the german wasn't prepared vs armor. 1 single PIV and it was gg for the kv8. Basically, it was grenadiers vs kv8 and what a great surprise : it doesn't work. Maybe grenadiers should have a kill button to eat all soviet tanks in 1 hit? Correct me if i'm wrong but grenadier have direct AT grenade for free...What ? AT mix and after that PIV ? OMG it's too hard ! Really ? Welcome to soviet world.

Are you serious ? KV8 is DOCTRINE BASED. The replay show a NOT prepared player vs armor. Even with the new patch it was gg for german.
The KV8 can be countered with 1 grenadier to AT grenade (free, isn't it ?) and a tank like the PIV. Where is the imba ? Because you need to use 2 units ? The KV8 have a lot of hp but what about tiger ? As soviet i need more than 1 unit to kill tiger but it's fine...
Btw, since when Relic has the truth coming from god himself ? The game is still in heavy patch mode so don't tell me that "everything in the patch is safe and good".
I'm sorry but i'm starting to think that you are a player who can't take a lose without "NO NO NO, if i lose its not my fault" and i'm not alone to think like that (as i can see on the site).

KV8 isn't OP. It was insanely OP back when it would consistently insta kill an entire squad, now it doesn't do that anymore. Its pretty bullshit that it has so much health it could still drive through a wall of AT with zero fucks given (most good players used vehicle blocking to negate this anyway) and continue to burn your theoretically safe troops, but offensively it was fixed a while back.

Anyone who whines about it like they did 6 months ago is just a butthurt retard trying to point a finger at something instead of learning to play the game better.

not the health, germans tank rarely penetrate the KV8, instant kills grens , so faust is not an option not mention, if you managed to faust not sure it gets motor dmg.

Nope not anymore takes several seconds to kill a squad now which is fine.

show me the replay where for example a p4 instant kills squads, or kills half of the enemy army while they are retreating. Another problem was the IS2 and ISU, but i dont know how are they now.
