Our lines are starting to hold. Blitzkrieg has not swept us away as fast as the Nazis may have wanted. Leningrad and Moscow are hurting, and often cut-off entirely from essential resources, but they have not fallen. It’s summer now and Hitler makes a big push south. He wants the Volga river. He wants to drive into the Caucasus to take our precious oilfields. He is mad. Comrades, we cannot let this happen!
